Paignton Zoo Demolition Man demo!

I gather the orangutans are being kept inside because they don't want Mali to give birth outside. Far be it from me to suggest they keep her indoors and allow the others to let off steam outside. It's not pleasant watching Gambira looking over her shoulder all the time.:(

:mad:FREE THE ORANGS:(

:) Oh dear, this thread is getting an end of term/year feeling:)
Lest the hard men on the forum think we are getting too soft and fluffy, there is a serious concern behind our frivolity. It's not unknown for an orangutan who's being chased round high structures to lose its grip and fall onto hard ground. We don't want to see this happen to Gambira, not the most athletic of her species, but I'm sure neither do the keepers who are keeping an eye on things. We haven't seen this behaviour when they're outside.
