Does anybody know how many male dholes were sent to Sweden in the summer of 2012? I know that 2 males were received from France in August of that year. The 2 packs at Howletts currently consist of 13 females and 13 males - the sexes were split up a couple of years ago to avoid any more interbreeding, which had been going on for some years following the deaths of the alpha pair and the subsequent squabbling for dominance amongst the subordinates.
