Disappointing Attractions

What was the most disappointing attraction on a vacation trip?

Mine was the Buffalo Pound Provincial Park, located in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan of Canada. The whole draw of the park was that it had a herd of bison. I had never seen a live bison in the wild, so I was excited. We traveled 15 miles off-course to visit the place. We went there, and there was no herd. We climbed up this tall watch tower. There was this small sign that said that bison are shy animals and like to hide in the bushes. So don't be surprised if you don't see any. The crazy part is that on our way home, we drove through Yellowstone. We were told that there were bison, but not to expect anything. Sure enough, there were bison everywhere. Go figure.

If I don't see bison (which we call buffalo in Wyoming :) ) in Yellowstone than it's a bad day. If you are far into the park and people are stopping for buffalo that's also a sign of a bad day.

Surely if something is 'disappointing', it ceases to be an 'attraction'?
Admittedly I've never seen a wild bison, but I've never known any of the many captive ones I've sen, to hide in a bush. Have to be a really big bush. Then again, if it was hiding in a bush, you wouldn't see it.
Things hiding in bushes may be more likely to be rabbits.
