Discovery Place Nature is a small nature museum in Charlotte, NC that is a sister facility to the larger Discovery Place Science. It mostly features native species, primarily herps. I visited last year and thought it was nice for what it was.
A few months ago Discovery Place broke ground on a new Nature facility that will be larger and feature more species such as river otters, and is set to open in autumn 2025. The current building has been closed since January 2024.
