The Mallard at the Oasis at the egret at Gorilla Falls were probably just wild animals hanging around in the enclosures - unless you know somehow that these are captive individuals?
No, you may be correct. The egret was chillin right in the hippo exhibit so it looked like it belonged, but could have been wild. An employee in front of the duck pond mentioned that they are updating their collection faster than their signage so we just wanted to make sure we noted every species in there

Quite a few birds missing from your list compared to when I visited in May. (Plum-headed parakeet, northern carmine bee-eater, african jacana to name a few)I would also be very interested to see a photo of that sunbird as too my knowledge that bird was not there during my visit.

It’s possible some were missed but unlikely. Do you know which exhibit those birds were in?

I appreciate you linking my Kilimanjaro Safaris thread as part of your species list; but next time, try to attach the name of a thread’s creator when doing so.

Would be good to see a picture of the copper-throated sunbird if you have one (or if you could point out which picture it is in your google drive). Always a treat to see sunbirds in zoos, not many around.

There’s a few pictures of some birds higher up and can’t tell which one. My apologies. Just working with my iPhone camera for now lol

The Alpine mix goat is actually an Alpine Pygmy goat(alpine cross Pygmy). There is only one single, very elderly individual left named Tubbs. At 17 years old, he is now the oldest of his species in the world.

They have more than just Dorper sheep. They also have several Florida native sheep and one single, elderly Katahdin sheep.

They also have green tree python in the animation experience queue. That enclosure is easy to miss. I didn’t even notice it till last year.

At Discovery island they have western grey kangaroo, not red kangaroo. The last red kangaroo also died this year. There are also two yellow-footed tortoises in with the cotton top tamarins as well as radiated tortoises in with the crowned cranes in the safari queue, although they are not signed.
