Do you have a list of species seen at zoos?

I wonder if any Zoochatters have a list of animals seen at zoos?

I once tried to make a list of mammals and birds I seen. But hopelessly cannot remember dozens of similar parrots etc.

I have a life list of all mammals, birds and reptiles I've photographed. This is not up-to-date, and though I try to keep it as accurate as possible I'm sure there are likely to be the odd mistakes.

It's not an easy task, but it is good when you look down it and realise you've seen more than you think, and it's fun to plan visits to fill some gaps or even to see every subspecies in a family.

I have a complete list of the Good Zoo.

I tried to make a list of the Pittsburgh Zoo, but I can't remember all of those fish...

A few months ago I tried to get into the habit of going through my photos after a visit and typing a list of species seen (for future reference) but the amount of time it took just made it impractical.

I agree. I have got a species list [It's coming on, not fully up to date]. I list the 'common name', 'scientific name', 'the year I saw it in', 'family' and 'the place I first saw it' in that order.:)

I'm an amateur!! I have a list of all the animals I saw in Costa Rica but zoo animals just don't seem to count the way wild ones do.

I don't keep lists of zoo animals unless it is for the specific purpose of posting them on here; I don't do it for my own sake. But I do keep lists of all the mammals, birds and herptiles I see in the wild.
