Off the coast of Los Angeles, California, lies the beautiful island of Catalina. This island is gone to unique animals and wildlife that isn't seen anywhere else in the world. From the indigenous Catalina Island fox that lives in small packs around the island, to the huge to American bison which mysteriously travelled to the island at some point hundreds of years ago. Not all inhabitants of Catalina Island are big, with the tiny California ground squirrel and the much feared Southern Pacific rattlesnake.
