"The strange far-eastern forests above Vladivostok are the last domain of the magnificent Siberian tiger.

Logging and hunting have reduced the tiger's natural prey, forcing them to attack livestock and dogs from nearby villages. Further east, the Kamchatka Peninsula is shaped by a chain of active volcanoes, fumeroles, and geysers, altering the climate and behavior of it's wildlife.

This film was first broadcast in 1992"

 
I agree with this, possibly because "urban people" are used with images of tigers wandering in jungle or tall grass. It should be another spectacle to see a tiger in a snowy habitat along with bears and wolves (of course not too close). It would be incredible to have a similar documentary for the amur leopard too
