Zoo Veldhoven Does anybody have any news about Papegaaienpark NOP?

As far as I'm informed they are doing some renovation work - and maybe more - and will open somewhere this summer. As soon as I know more I'll inform you !

Re-opened under the new name Zoo Veldhoven and now should be a general zoo ( not a specialized Parrot park ). I visited Zoo Veldhoven for a couple of weeks and I can tell you it still is a ( mainly ) parrot park but also has a huge collection of birds of prey. On mammals they have some monkeys Ruffted and Ring-tailed lemurs ), carnivores ( servals,Corsac foxes ) among others but to call it a real zoo instett of birdpark....?
Many of the old enclosures, aviaries and building ( tropical house ) still are there and althrough many of the rare species are not longer kept the collection is surtainly worth a visit !
