Does anyone know if these animals ever been kept in the UK? Are there any at the mo?

There are not any at the moment, i think the only places they have ever been kept are USA and australia. There has been a thread on this before.

I saw a stuffed one today,in Cardiff Museum, it got me wondering.

Oh right I have never seen a stuffed or a live one, they are quite fascinating creatures.

It was in a Darwin Exhibition, so i'm assuming it's one he brought back. It was smaller than i thought it would be, i always thought of them as Otter sized.
