after reading a newspaper article on killer whales, it brought back memories of my visits to dudley zoo as a child and seeing the wonderful cuddles the killer whale, as i hadn't been back to the zoo in over 40 years i decided i should go again, i wasn't disapointed and have returned a further 3 times and also several other zoo's and safari parks, my one regret is that i didn't do it sooner, i'm loving seeing all the wonderful animals again, and being older probably appreciate them more
i am especially drawn to tschuna and daseep the amur and sumatran tigers, they have given me a lot of pleasure on my visits, and are my favourite of any zoo i have visited so far, i am sad though that this week is tschuna's last at dudley, i'll be going back the day before her departure to north yorkshire to say goodbye, it won't be the last i see of her though as i'll be travelling up to yorkshire to see her
i love the lemur woods too the lemurs are so friendley and playful, the meerkats also always amuse me, the snow leopards and lynx and lions are also wonderful and i love seeing them, you can bet i'll be a regular visitor in the coming years to a zoo which had previously been locked in my past
