Elephants in Canada

Hi all,

Through this post I'm trying to complete the elephant information I have on Canadian elephants.
A couple of the elephants I know of are lost to follow up.
Perhaps some of you can help?

One of this elephants is an Asian elephant that came to the Storybook Gardens in London, Ontario.
I have a picture of her on a postcard but can't find any more information on her futher live.
Her name is Thaila and she arrived in 1958.
Any of you some further info?

Two other elephants are called Babar and Philomene that lived in Orsainville, Quebec.
They are African females, more information is wanted!

Besides this I have an postcard of Marineland and Game Farm with an elephant on a red bal.
I found some information that Hawthorn (from the USA) profided some showanimals to this park.
Did they ever owned an elephant?

Pictures of this elephants and of course other historical ones are very welcome too!

Thanks a lot for your help!
