So I randomly stumbled across this website and thought it would be fun to talk with others who love animals as much as I do! My names Josh. I am currently a college student going for a degree in animal science and I just recently became a zoo keeper at the local city zoo. Working there has been one of the greatest experiences of my life. My goal is to one day get the opportunity to work at a bigger zoo. Until then though, i am happy where I am at and couldnt ask for a better job! So yeah, thats basically me. Nice to meet you guys!
 
Welcome to Zoochat Josh ! Could you tell something more about the zoo you're working at and which animals do you have under your care ?

@vogelcommando Its a pretty small zoo, there is only about seven species of mammals and twenty bird species but its pretty great there. Since it is such a small zoo I am in charge of looking after all the animals there. What I like about this zoo is that most the animals are animals that have been rescued, need rehabilitating or can no longer live on their own in the wild. I am actually currently raising three starlings, two crows, one gosling and two kittens, it seems as though people have been bringing in orphaned animals every day lately. My room has now officially became a nursery! I love it though. I personally think it is one of the greatest jobs in the world.
