English Premier League

yes, i agree that faye's departure was a mistake, as was emre's, but shearer was the man to take the club forward. kinnear should never have happened, and neither should wise.

let's take a look at spurs. they sacked their manager at the same time that king kev was forced out. they acted quickly, bringing in redknapp while we waited with a poor caretaker (Chris Hughton) before bringing in Joke in here (Joe Kinnear). they saved them selves and ended up in the top half, while we went down. If reports are true and the sultan of oman buys the club (he also owns a restaurant called the Al Inshirah- Alan Shearer), then i believe we'll come straight back up (which will be the first major trophy won since 2007, when we won the Intertoto cup), but if it doesn't happen and we have to have kinnear back, then i can't see us coming back up. can i start up a championship thread for myself (and any WBA fans)?

P.S. If there's any mackems on the board, beware of agent bruce

Dad and bro support newcastle, my 2nd team

even if the oma guy dont buy the club, if the club kepps its cureent players the championship should be breez (well not quite, but will be if shearer stays)

Wise should never of had a job

KIng Kev was the GURU man, he is the MAN, you must get him!!!

No doubt Leeds thought they would go straight back up, look where they are now.

My cousin went to watch Aston Villa v Newcastle on the last day of the season and told me the current Newcastle side were the worst team he has ever seen play at Villa Park.
