Hi
I created a species list for this facility:
Name: Entopia by Penang Butterfly Farm
Location: Penang, Malaysia
Website: Welcome - Entopia - Voices of Nature
Visit Date: March 16, 2025
Ticket Price: RM 75 (Non-Malaysians) / RM 60 (Residents etc)
Animal Feeding / Activities: Butterfly Release, Fish Feeding, etc
Food: Drinks and snacks are available for purchase in the zoo restaurant.
The zoo opened in 1986, as one of the first and largest butterfly parks. The zoo was also focusing on mamals and avian collection in the past, and was breeding local animals, including Great Hornbills. I was personally involved in long-term volunteer work here when I was a student. and was told that they were breeding civets and other small mammals too in the past.
The zoo mainy focuses on insects today, but also has a rare collection of frogs, geckos, and invertabrates.
I have added the vertabrate species list to Zootierliste.
Note that the signs at this zoo might not be accurate, since I have seen some misidentifications and missigns in the past.
The zoo does not have a lot of signs for butterfly and moth species, and instead has a species list online.
Here is the species list:

Feel free to leave any comments / questions!
