Does anyone have any information about the numbers/breeding situation of the following species? Any additional information on how the populations were established would be appreciated as well.

- Common vampire bat (3 holdings, one was recent import from Brookfield Zoo in Chicago, other 2 are from universities and seem to be declining in numbers... reason?)
- Southern long-nosed bat (3 holdings, 2 got them fairly recently)
- Vietnamese small flying fox (~20 at Leipzig held since 1986, ~5 at Walsrode. Recent breeding, population seems to be growing slowly)
- Gambian epauletted bat (3 holdings, possibly in small numbers and declining? Any breeding recently?)
- Island flying fox (small group of 4-6 at Usti, stable since mid-1990's. Ostensibly also at Almaty?)
- Straw-colored fruit bat (9 holdings, wide range of holding numbers, at least some recent births. Is this population growing or shrinking?)
