I initially voted for Wilhelma based on the collection, but after some research I found the enclosures from Vienna better in my opinion. I do really like the mountain ungulate enclosures from Stuttgart.
@Philipine eagle - A great enclosure for
Barbary Sheep who share this enclosure with the barbary macaques.
@Philipine eagle - A lot of the enclosures in the Rotunda contain Hoofstock. They might not be the biggest, but they are still decent with excellent views and fantastic architecture.
Species:
Blesbok, Burchell's Zebra, Common Eland, Kirk's Dik-dik, Mhorr Gazelle, Nyala
@Philipine eagle,
@JamesB - Vienna has one of the best indoor enclosures for this popular species.
Species:
Reticulated Giraffe
@Daubentoniidae - A very nice and lush
Collared Peccary enclosure.
@honeybadger - The relatively new and great enclosure for two himalayan ungulates.
Species:
Golden Takin, Himalayan Tahr
@lintworm,
@Philipine eagle - A good outdoor enclosure for the
Common Hippopotamus, with a decent, but lightly criticised indoor enclosure.
@lintworm - A fantastic and large enclosure for Asian hoofstock, with the Rhino as the headliner. This enclosure is by far superb against what I thought was a simple paddock in Wilhelma.
Species:
Indian Rhinoceros, Blackbuck, Nilgai, Vietnamese Sika Deer
@Maguari - A nice enclosure for
Vicuna.
@Philipine eagle,
@twilighter - An
African Elephant enclosure with a pretty good indoors and a decent outdoors compared to Stuttgart.
@Maguari -
Domestic Reindeer enclosure.
Note that I have yet to visit either collection, so misunderstandings are possible, but I feel quite confident in my overview of Vienna.
