Evidence on animals.

These 2 questions have been boggling my brain since I learned about this.
The Supposed species of prosimian, and the supposed species of civet, the False potto and The Lowe's otter civet, are possible species, but it is bias to consider these as species, as we just don't have enough evidence about these 2 animals. This comes to a mix of my opinion and question. Are these 2 real? Both animals were only collected from pelts, or skeletons. In my opinion, I think its very well possible that these 2 animals could be real species, but I just don't know. What's everyone's opinion on this matter? I would love to interact to hear your sides on this thread.
Best wishes,
Luke.

The identity of "Lowes Otter Civet" has been conclusively determined to have been a Eurasian Otter skin.

That's interesting, thanks for letting me know. Now I am getting more interested if False pottos exist. Probably not, I think.
