Outrage after animal sanctuary euthanizes all of its animals
A really bizarre story from Lions Gate, a small exotic sanctuary in Colorado (USA).

What do I think? If I will be allowed to speculate (without having any knowledge of the owners or situation), my guess is the owners were really mad at the county (for which I do not blame them) and killing the animals was their way of getting back at them because they figure the public will blame it on the county officials. They certainly could have moved them to the other sanctuary mentioned or any number of other private zoos or sanctuaries. They didn't even try to find other homes for the animals? That's terrible!I don't really buy the age excuse much, there are lots of cases where older animals were successfully moved to new places. What do you guys think?

That is what the article states, that the owners of Wild Animal Sanctuary said they would have taken the animals. It's even more annoying and saddening because Colorado is home to the Wild Animal Sanctuary, one of/ perhaps the largest animal sanctuaries in the country.
