Hello ZooChatters, I've noticed that Australia has a lot of very common zoo species (bison, flamingo, toucan) missing. What are some species that Australia doesn't have or are gone completly? Also, why are most common and rare zoo species disappearing from Australian zoos?

Look at the top of the Australia forum at the sticky threads. They will answer all your questions about what exotic species are or are not kept in Australia. And your last question is discussed ad nauseum on the Australia forum, so even a cursory browse through the threads will answer it.
