Out of curiosity, what is the rationale for this thread being in the General Forum instead of the United States Forum?

Seriously, someone voted for South America. Most of their exhibits are cages.
:P I voted for it as a joke hehehe to see if anyone would notice :P. In my honest opinion, I can't decide whether Islands or Gorilla Forest is the best complex, I'd consider Glacier Run as well, but the indoor bear exhibit is not the best imho.

100% disagree not all are cages.
Definition of cage from the Merriam Webster Dictionary: “a box or enclosure having some openwork for confining or carrying animals (such as birds)”. This accurately describes all Zoo exhibits. A cage doesn’t just mean a box with wire keeping an animal inside.

This could be its own contentious thread all by itself. And probably will result in the hijacking of this thread

Apologies if it seemed like I was trying to hijack the thread, that wasn't my intention. I just didn't think it was fair to dismiss an exhibit just because it's a "cage" (although the exhibits in the South America are do look pretty bad).

Perhaps this should be split into its own thread?
