A mondegreen is a misunderstood or misinterpreted word or phrase resulting from a mishearing of the lyrics of a song.

I'm interested to know what song lyrics people on ZooChat have misheard and whether they think their version is better than what the lyrics really are.
 
All STAR (SMASH MOUTH)

As teenagers, me and my mates thought:

Hey, now, you're an All Star, get your game on, go play
Hey, now, you're a Rock Star, get the show on, get paid
And all that glitters is gold
Only shooting stars break the mold

Was:

One of my mates commented how shocked he was such inappropriate themes in the lyrics would appear in the Shrek movies (the original movie features this song) and looked up the lyrics for confirmation. Then we all felt stupid.

Most people however, swear blind they hear Starbuck's lovers in this line.
 
When I ran track in high school, the softball team next to us would play music on their PA system. They played Taylor Swift's "Shake It Off" every single day. Even though I knew it didn't make any sense, for months I could only hear "S****y Hawk".

I was wondering why a donkey was so troublesome to Egypt.
