When I visited the San Diego Zoo, I noticed that there were a ton of these gray fish swimming around in the Africa Rock's penguin and shark exhibit. There was no information sign for them anywhere in the exhibit. I found no information about them anywhere on ZooChat and other websites. Not even YouTube channels like Zoo Tours talks about them. Does anyone know what kind of fish these are so I can add them on to my "species seen" list? :)

I can't tell for certain if all the fish are the same, but the ones that can be seen in sidelong view are half-moons, Medialuna californiensis.

Thanks everybody! One more question: In the picture, what is that fish right below the penguin with a square shaped face? The pictures of the fish in the article that Thomas provided look nothing like the one in that picture. I think it might be Chromis punctipinnis since it doesn't look like the other two. What do you guys think?

It's a Medialuna californiensis, it's head is just behind a rock.
