Five Sisters Zoo 2017

So far 2017 has got off to a busy start for Five Sisters with the construction of a new enclosure ready for some fishing cats which will be a welcome new addition to this ever expanding collection located about 15 minutes from Edinburgh Zoo

Over in the Lost Kingdom They have sadly had to move on 6 of the 8 American alligators due to them now taking over the enclosure however on another note mummy and daddy common chameleon have brought about the arival of a baby.

This collection continues to grow strength to strength with many visitors choosing it over Edinburgh Zoo

As iv'e never been to Edinburgh before I've never been to this zoo before.I would like to say after googling it I can not imagine what a wonderful zoo it is.Great new addition to add fishing cats into the collection. Where have the other alligators moved?Great news about the baby chameleon.

The 6 American Aligators have headed south to Crocs of the World :)

So Edinburgh must have some serious competition the way this zoo is constantly improving and expanding its collection good luck to them.
 
The Fishing Cats have arrived - they are a pair of sisters from Drayton Manor
 
I like five sisters zoo it has a wide range of interesting animals and I think there is enough room for both to be in close proximity. They both offer something unique in terms of a collection. Edinburgh zoo doesn't have a raccoon or the large bears for instance. Definitely worth a visit if you're thinking of going to a zoo in the area especially if you have kids. The story of the lions is really touching too quite a remarkable story.
 
It can be improved in many respects, but over-all it is a nice zoo.

They have bred three meerkats and three otter cubs
