Flamingo Gardens is a 60-acre zoological and botanical facility located in Davie, Florida. Animals at the facility include American black bear, bobcat, common raccoon, American flamingo, bald eagle, crested caracara, red-shouldered hawk, red-bellied woodpecker, brown pelican, hyacinth macaw, American alligator, and African spurred tortoise, among other species.

On February 5th, 2025, the sanctuary announced they acquired a (0.1) Virginia opossum named Polly after it was deemed unreleasable which is now an animal ambassador.

On February 11th, the sanctuary announced their (1.0) Florida panther named Buddy passed away on February 9th during a medical examination. A necropsy was later performed which revealed severe congenital defects (likely caused by inbreeding in the wildlife trade) and several organ diseases including microcardia, advanced lung disease, liver and kidney disease, and fibrosis in multiple organ systems.

On February 28th, the sanctuary announced that 3 North American river otters were born in January.
