This small Zoo with a collection of Toucan , Fox Cubs , Mongoose , Monkeys , Reptiles , Domestic farm animals, Squirrels and Parrots ... Was opened just after World War 2 to try and stimulate tourism back into Folkestone ... It succeeded at the time but like a lot of the small seaside Zoos people became disinterested and it eventually closed approximately 1959
