Things are going along well with the African Journey. Most of the animals are here already or will be within the next few weeks. The Africa crew is working hard to get everything ready for the opening. This has been a long project but from what I've seen so far it should be outstanding. I've only seen the ratels so far, and pictures of the lions, hyenas, and servals. I get to go to a preview party on June 3--I'll let folks know then how it looks! In the meantime everyone is working hard to get the rest of the zoo ready to open on April 18. We're busy hanging perches, touching up paint, raking leaves, and doing animal physical exams!
