Friends of the zoos taronga whats going on?

I would be really interested to hear what has happened to FOTZ Taronga.

I am aware that as of very recentley it is no longer exisiting in its origional format.

It is now manage by Taronga Zoo.
 
Is there no one with inside information on this?

This could be the first of many Friends of zoo organisation to change there structure!
 
i think that all that has changed is that it is now run by the zoo instead of an independant organisation.

Yes there is.

The current CEO has always wanted more control over Zoo Friends. The organisation raises (or raised) a lot of funds each year, which didn't always go where the CEO wanted even though he had the power of veto over most decisions. So not a lot has changed from that point of view, except he will have less people debating decisions with him.
