Garold Wayne Interactive Zoological Park

you won't be saying that when they breed back a sabre-toothed tiger!! A conservation success story.

Absolutely! The staff are convinced that it's possible... Lion x tiger x tigon = sabre-tooth tiger. The maths makes perfect sense!

Garold Wayne...

You'd probably need to cross in African Forest Elephant to get the the teeth. So, (Tigon x Forest Elephant) x Liger and you're half way there. Or you might wake up first. Probably ( Red Kangaroo x Rhinoceros Iguana) x Blue Whale might give you a reasonable T. Rex as well. Or a headache.

Is this the park that featured on a Louis Theroux documentary about Americans keeping exotic animals as pets? It looked like the type of animal park that only fuels the argument against keeping exotic animals in captivity.

That's the one, a complete farce of a private collection which is run by someone who isn't exactly well-balanced! If memory serves me right, he threatened to shoot all of his animals if anyone tried to shut him down!?:eek:

Hate to get pedantic but that would never work, you'd need at least a carnivore, rather than a herbivore, with tusks; I'm thinking (walrus x tigon) x liger would be far more practical! ;)

If anyone else is confused about the sabre tooth cat comment, I found this enlightening:

Tiligers

I've heard plenty of kooky evolutionary biology theories before, but that's a new one.
