Werribee Open Range Zoo getting to the zoo from the city.

What's the easiest or best way to get out to Werribee from the city? I'm travelling with my wife and two small kids and I won't have a car. Do any tour operators have day trips to and from the zoo?

Getting the train to Werribee and then the bus (or a taxi) to the Zoo would be easiest without a car.

Thanks mate. I've actually been there a couple of times before via the train but was hoping for another option. I think I'll just jump on a train. I really appreciate your response. I haven't been there for a while and I'm looking forward to this visit. Last time I was there the lion's weren't there. I'm looking forward to seeing that plus hippo beach.
