J jay Well-Known Member 20+ year member 17 Nov 2007 #1 Wellington zoos male giraffe, Ricky, died at the age of 20. This leaves the zoo with two females, mother and daughter. Wonder if tyhey will get one of the young males, born at Auckland, and currently at Hamilton.
