Hello - new to this forum, but reckon you guys can help me.
I used to and still vistit Twycross zoo a lot and was always in awe of their prize Silverback Mamfi - now sadly gone along with George and many others from their Gorilla enclosure. I remember once looking Mamfi up on the net and coming across a site which detailed all captive silverbacks, birth and death dates, who sired them and in turn who they had sired. I seem to think though could be worng that Mamfi was related to the faned Jersey Zoo Gorilla Jambo. I was reminded of this whilst chatting to my soon as we watched Pertinax in Paignton last week.
I can't find this site now and wondered if any of you where aware of it??
