The Sea Life Centre at Manly had a young (1.5 metre) Great White Shark briefly in September. Beachgoers rescued the shark after it washed ashore, putting it into a saltwater swimming pool until aquarists arrived. It spent some time in a tank at the aquarium to recover (I think just a day) until release into the ocean.
