Greetings!

Hello

I have up until now been largely a part time member generaly lurking about checking in occasionally.

In the last few days I have been on zoochat quite often (for one reason or another) and realised it was rather rude of me to have not introduced myself to fellow members in the first place!

So here I am, my name is Chris (obviously) and I'm a bird keeper to the core both personally and professionally and proud! I'm interested in other classes but birds are my main thing.

Feel free to get in contact with me if you have any questions or I can help you with anything, I'm always looking to make new friends in all sorts of places!

I look forward to becoming (hopefully) a more regular user of zoochat.

Chris Kent :D

My practical knowledge is generally in softbills (toucans, hornbills and the like)and parrots (all kinds), but I'm interested personally in anything that flies really! :D I'm guessing from your name your a corvid fan???

It's always nice to have another birdgeek around and next to corvids I m also very fond of parrots, but like you the interest goes to anything with feathers.

Welcome Chris. I do have my favourite birds, no prizes for guessing, but there are few kinds in which I am not interested.

Hiya Chris and welcome to Zoo Chat, I don't have any particular favorites bird wise, the multitude of designs, colours, adaptations and biozones they inhabit fascinate me though from mahoosive eagles to wandering albatross to hummingbirds they all interest me really. I really do like to see every animal on show in truth!! easy to please I suppose. :O)

Thankyou for your warm welcomes! nice to see I'm not alone here :D
I must say I used to have favourites (mainly big loud colourful birds), but as I moved on and worked with other species I aquired an apreciation for the littler things, I'm quite keen on tanagers and buntings at the moment :D

hey

i am an avid bird watched/lover at the age of 17! my favourite has to be the Cormorant or the Great Bustards
