I think it is the Bavarian Forest National Park animal enclosures (Tierfreigelände).

Edit: I hope I understand the German word "Wildpark" correctly. But I think it could fall into this category. The name of this place doesn´t contain the word "Zoo".

You seem surprised by that I have visited more than a few Wildparks in Germany,as they can turn up a few un-usual species or open late so you can do them late in the evening,after I full day zoo visiting say Stuttgart.

Right back on to the collection for some reason Wildpark Lueneburger Heide is jumping out at me as possible!
