I have become a bit slack with birthday wishes of late due to intermittent internet access. No offence intended towards anyone who doesn't get wished happy birthday.......;)

Not sure if 21 is as important a birthday in the UK as it is in the US, but enjoy it anyways!

It's still counted as an important 'coming-of-age' kind of birthday - but I can't off the top of my head think of any major 'legal' (i.e. can buy alcohol etc) changes at 21 these days.

I think it was originally something to do with voting, but don't quote me on that, just a thought thats stuck in my head for some reason! :confused:

@Chlidonias - You know, when my birthday came around in November I was looking forward to my birthday greeting from you. I was greatly disappointed when it never came. Then I got to looking into it, and my birthday wasn't shown on my profile.

a belated happy birthday greeting then to you too Ituri. I don't think I was on the internet much in November anyway so I may well have missed it even if it had shown up. I really only post birthday greetings if I notice one and the member is either a regular or someone I converse with (no offence to everyone else of course, just otherwise I'd be posting birthday threads every day!) [I'll hasten to add that if I had seen it was your birthday Ituri, you would have received a well-wishing immediately]
