On May 26th, I visited Happy Hollow Park & Zoo for the first time. The number of birds at this zoo is almost the same amount as those I counted at Micke Grove Zoo. Here are the handful of bird species I noted:

- White-faced whistling-duck (Dendrocygna viduata)
- Ringed teal (Callonetta leucophrys)
- Crested partridge (Rollulus rouloul)
- Speckled pigeon (Columba guinea guinea)
- Black-necked stilt (Himantopus mexicanus mexicanus)
- Western cattle egret (Bubulcus ibis ibis)
- Northern bald (Waldrapp) ibis (Geronticus eremita)
- Western turkey vulture (Cathartes aura aura)
- Blue and gold macaw (Ara ararauna)
- Central American scarlet macaw (Ara macao cyanopterus)
