Have just stumbled across this lovely forum and decided to join.
Im the Animal Collection Manager at Dartmoor Zoological Park in Devon (UK).
Im part of the new team who took over the park earlier this year and are working extremely hard to bring the zoo up to modern standards.
We are now open, and would love to see lots of you at the zoo and hear what you think.
We still have a large animal collection - 4 tigers, 2 lynx, 2 puma, 1 jaguar, 2 lions, 7 wolves, 4 ververt monkeys and many many other animals.
You will be able to see us on BBC2 soon, there will be a series in a few months time about the difficulties in renovating and opening the zoo.
