Hi all,

My name is Linda and I am an Australian wildlife carer and educator (I teach how to care for Aussie wildlife). I also have a website called Fourth Crossing Wildlife - Fourth Crossing Wildlife - where there are heaps of stories, photos and care resources on native animals.

I found this forum in my search for all things wombat and read Peel Zoo's post on Brigitte and Wombat Awareness. An amazing woman (and hubby!) and organisation.

I also specialise in the care of wombats, but Bare-Nosed Wombats. I've also done some volunteer work for the Northern Hairy-Nosed Wombat which was fantastic!

Looking forward to reading more posts on the forum.

cheers for now
Linda

Hey there guys,

Thanks for the welcome! I haven't been on Ozark for a long time, but I used to post a lot. I've started up my own online Aussie wildlife carers forum - which I urge you all to join if you're interested in Australian native animals - it's called WildFriends and can be found here - Log in.

It's a great little forum with a growing network. I have three forum vets who are experienced in wildlife care - Dr Anne Fowler, Tim Portas from Australia Zoo in Beerwah Queensland, and Benn Bryant of Taronga Western Plains Zoo in Dubbo New South Wales.

cheers
Linda
