Hi y'all!
I'm Amber, better known as Verdane, and I found this through the wonderful community of science loving Tumblr users, particularly Saritawolff (ngl I'm a fan of their work), who mentioned ZooChat in the notes on my Museum/Zoo Poll Blog! (@haveyoubeentothismuseum, feel free to join us :3)
I have close relations to the Education Team at the Greensboro Science Center, which got me into the Volunteer program easily because the volunteer manager was once on the Education Team. Of course, the reason that helped wasn't bias, it was that they KNEW that I am a passionate nerd willing to talk my head off about the place.
My favorite animals living at the GSC are Huck (Black Footed Cat and my top fav), Ruby (Macaw who really likes me), Layla (Sand Cat with personality), Bonecrusher (Alligator Snapping Turtle over a century old), Panther (Black Rat Snake with an attitude), and Rocky (Tiger that's a bit too playful)
Still desperately waiting for a time to be set loose in the main collection... Please you can't leave me hanging like this lol
