Greetings,
I stumbled across this community and it seems like my sort of place. I recently came to a realization that I love zoos more than I would have ever thought. On weekdays, when there aren't so many loud kids and gigantic groups, I have taken to relaxing at the NC Zoo. I can sit back for hours and watch the animals go about their business. There's something about the atmosphere of a zoo that makes me feel like I am in an alternative world, where the stressors of my day-to-day life are minimized.
My favorite species are small and mid-sized felids, though I also find primates quite fascinating.

*The Shedd Aquarium

*Milwaukee County Zoo
*Potawatomi Zoo
*Washington Park Zoo (IN)

*Greensboro Science Center
*Museum of Life and Science (Durham, NC)
*Rowan Wildlife Adventures
*Grandfather Mountain Wildlife Park
*Manitowoc Lincoln Park Zoo
