Hello zoochat! I have been looking around on this forum for quite some time now, and today I have finally decided it is the right time to join. I hope I am welcome in this community, and I look forward to learning more about my interests! Quickly, I would like to mention that I am not an adult, and certainly not any kind of animal or wildlife expert. I am mostly here to learn about zoos, and plan to pursue a career in some kind of animal science. So, onto some fun facts!
My love for animals started at a very young age. I always wanted my parents to read animal books to me, and before long I had a massive collection of ZooBooks on my shelf! Wild Kratts was my favorite television show as well. Admittedly, I used to be a know-it-all around my peers, but since then I have definitely calmed down in that aspect.
I am especially interested in the speculative and fantasy zoos. I could read about them for hours, and I want to make one of my own eventually! I already have ideas for it. I also really like creating lists of species. Odd hobby for some, but I imagine many here can relate. Thank you for reading, I'm excited to be a member of this community!
