Hey,

I am new here! After a long time thinking forums are dead I will give it a try again. :)

My name is Sarah, I am 30 years old from Germany. My home zoo is Wuppertal, which I am furtunate enough to work there as a zoo guide in part time, which is truly my dream job. Otherwise I am working as a paralegal assistant.

I do make zoo trips every now and then, as I already have visited all the zoos in NRW already. This year I traveled to the czech republic for the first time. The most far away zoo I visited was Bronx in NY.

I am a passionate collector of (historical) zoo items. My collections consists mainly of guides, books, maps, annual reports, photographs and dias and coins.

In my free time I do a lot of photography, in zoos and also in wildlife. I have dedicated instagram feeds for this topics. You can find my zoo photos via the name zoographys.

Obivously I am also really interested in animals in general so I am also keeping some myself. I do keep some reptiles (most rarely seen in zoos) and cats.

I hope thats a sufficient introduction and I am happy to answer any questions and am looking forward to good conversations with all of you!
