Hello from deep in the heart of Texas!
I'm very excited to be posting here on ZooChat, to connect with people who are as passionate about zoos and animals as I am (or more passionate than I am)!
I have to confess that I've been visiting the site for some time now, but reading the account of snowleopard's trip this summer has given me the "nudge" that I needed to become more active.
Despite my name, I'm actually located in the Houston, TX area. (I've lived in the San Diego area previously.) My favorite type of animal is the hoofed mammals, but there aren't many kinds of animals that I don't like!
