Hello, I was excited to join but now wish I had not... I expected this to be a great place for zoo and animal chat but after looking around at posts... there is a lot of trashing and animal rights propaganda... I am not interested in reading trash by people who have nothing better to do than try to find any little thing they can to put a spin on and post negative and damaging posts about places and people in the animal industry... Its good to ask questions and get the facts but just posting and trashing with out facts to get attention and to harm people and facilities... No thanks I graduated high school a long time ago... There are better ways to spend your time and energy than this...
 
To speak up for this Forum, it hosts a rather divers group of zoo fans. Some are indeed in high school (or even grade school) and why not? Some do indeed enjoy being "armchair zoo experts" but lack experience, expertise, or sense. That's life on the internet. But it is not all there is to ZooChat.
 
Oh the irony. You do realize, don't you, that by starting this thread you are guilty of trash-talking by implying we're all a bunch of people with the mentality of a high schooler? ZooChat is a great place to hang out and talk with like-minded zoo nuts, but as Zooplantman pointed out, we're a diverse group and with that comes differences in opinion and knowledge. If you don't like what's being said in a thread then move on to the next.
