Help please

Hi I am really annoyed with myself because I cant remember the name of a programme. It was shown on animal planet or one of the discovery channels around 1999 or 2000? It is called Zoo Story I think. This is not the one about Paignton or newquay. They showed London, Whipsnade and Colchester. It was presented by Lorna Davies i think. Is that her name?

I remember this series, though I think it was chiefly filmed at London Zoo and bits at Whipsnade, not at all at Colchester. I have two tapes full of this series, haven't watched them in almost a decade though :)
 
could you copy them in any way? I cant find anything on the internet. I remeber it was partly at colchester. Lorna davies ( is that her name) went behind the scenes of the andean condors. At whipsnade they did a bit on the chimps (the old house) and at London they did the arabian oryx story. I am sure it was called zoo story, before the new Zoo story was aired at paignton.
 
I have no equipment or knowledge to copy those video tapes, but in light of that I haven't watched them in almost a decade and am unlikely to do so again, I might as well let you have them. If you pay the cost of sending them to the UK (i.e. postage and packing)

I cannot guarantee that you will be able to play them, both in terms of video system (although in the distant part I used to buy quite a few video tapes in Britain when I was visiting, so I guess the systems are the same) or even if the tapes work after all these years. I might try them out in the next few days, but if they work in your video remains to be seen.

Again, no problem to send them to you, provided you understand and accept the above ;)
 
I have briliant news! Animal Planet are repeating the whole thing over the next few weeks at 3:25 AM each morning. Only just found the listing by chance. It's on tomorrow morning and every day for at least the next week. :D Worth recording if you get chance (or if your really dedicated you could get out of bed and watch it!)

Tomorrow's episoide is about the arrival of a new Sumatran Tiger. (Lumpar I pressume)

On a slight tangent, the series from West Midlands happens to be on at 1:30am as well
