Help required!

Hello all,
I used to be very into giraffe conservation and as part of that "adopted" Bentley a Rothschild giraffe at Chester Zoo in 1998. I have lost touch somewhat with animal conservation somewhat since about 2000.

However, I'm back now, and would very much like to find out what happened to Bentley. I have asked about what has happened at Chester zoo and was told he had been transferred to Port Lympne in Kent, but I can't find evidence of him there. Another person said he was transferred to South Lakes Wildlife park in 2000, and died there the following year.

If anyone knows what has happened to Bentley, I would be very grateful to find out what has become of him.

That rings about true to the best of my knowledge,apart from the fact that he was a hybrid and not a pure Baringo.
 
Bentley left Chester Zoo for South Lakes on 29th March 2000 and that is where he died on 18th October 2001. He was born on 17th May 1998 to Cormac and Samara. He was a hybrid giraffe.
