I believe this place is a dumping ground for unwanted ungulates the AZA has lying around, which explains the sporadic population numbers. Also, I forgot to mention there’s an exhibit for a European White Stork in between the Urial and Camel/Zebra exhibits.

They breed, too; they have a ranch in texas.

The AZA is the origin or a lot of the rarer animals Hemker keeps. Their gibbons came from LA as did their Gerenuk and some of their Bighorn Sheep. I won't name which but I know a zoo in Florida has recently started shipping off their rarest birds to this zoo (because they're not AZA recommended :().

I would also be interested in information on their ranch.

@Dhole dude thank you for providing this list. This zoo has been a massive unknown for a lot of us for quite some time now.

My pleasure, I’m glad I was able to help you out with this species list. This zoo was quite a treat, and the Ibex & Tur we’re quite a treat, and I will hopefully be back soon.
