I think this is a good step in the right direction- the dinosaur side of the zoo is in desperate need of renovation around the wolf/fox/deer/reindeer section so I hope they're going to make better use of the space. It never sat right with me that the wolves were bunched so closely beside the train ride thingThe two remaining wolves, Romulus and Inge, who have been at the zoo for 12 years will move to Wolf Watch in January 2025.
The enclosure did seem to be in a noisy and quite strange spot so it seems like a good move all round as they look for new things to put there / other developments, as it's more on the dinosaur side of the zoo.

Thank goodness. Those poor wolves were subject to inescapable dinosaur noises and moving animatronics within metres from their enclosure and also a train ride that was inches from their fence. The newer exhibits at Hertfordshire are definitely what they should continue to strive towards. The two remaining wolves, Romulus and Inge, who have been at the zoo for 12 years will move to Wolf Watch in January 2025.
