Hi everyone, I''m Stacey and having just discovered zoo chat, which seems perfect for networking and keeping up to date with all the zoo news!, I will take the liberty of introducing myself.
I've recently graduated from uni with my degree in zoology and am eagerly attempting to gain my step up in the keeping industry. I have a big passion for conservation and behaviour and completed a research project on behaviour in captive orang-utans. Im particularly fond of primates and larger mammals, and as you can probably tell from my profile picture, I love dogs too!
Whilst colchester zoo is closest to me and one Im very fond of, I currently volunteer at another zoo around an hour and a halfs drive from me...and have to say I have thoroughly enjoyed my first two months there.
This is quite a long introduction so Ill stop talking now
but I am more than willing to meet new people and I look forward to seeing what zoochat has to offer!!
